A Little of This and That!

I have been slowing down on blogging and including a lot of different things in 1 post.  Makes it hard to title!  Last week Maddie and Turner went to the dentist.  Normally these visits costs us a lot of money.  These kids just don't seem to have good teeth.  Maddie's gums were very swollen by one of her caps and she had an infection.  She is on a 10 day antibiotic and I got the pill form.  Whoa!  It is huge and I am so impressed that she can get it down.  She asks for her horse pill at night before bed.  She has a cavity we are getting filled next month.  That was Wednesday.  Since then she has shed many tears over another tooth hurting.  It is another cap and is a little wiggly.  It is a little early for it to be coming out so we are heading back to the dentist this afternoon.  Turner thankfully got a good report and finally has two loose teeth on the bottom.  He will be one excited boy when they decide to come out.
Mo tested all last week and we are glad that is behind us.  Turner had Fairy Tale day Friday and went as Captain Hook.  Maddie was embarrassed to walk beside him and he was proud as could be.  I love how excited he gets about things and wish Maddie wouldn't think she is so grown.  She is 8 for Petes sake.  Harper took a fall Friday at school and got a bump to the head.  We gladly celebrated the end of the week with a trip to Baskin Robbins after school.  We love ice cream!
Saturday M and T had soccer and I took Harper to Evie's birthday party.  It was fun going to a party just with her.  That afternoon we got out the water hose and played on the trampoline for hours.  The kids love being outside and I am all for getting their energy out.  Kev worked at the bouncers and we had a good day.
Mondays are always a day where I can get things done, spend 1 on 1 time with H, and relax a bit.  This morning Harper managed to paint herself and the carpet with nail polish.  After I got that taken care of I began putting clothes in the dryer.  Shortly after she runs up to me decorated with mascara.  She can not be left alone....not for a second!
