Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend and I took barely any pictures!!  I hate when I forget my camera and aren't able to capture some of the kids fun moments!  Oh well.  Summer has officially begun for us now that Daddy is out of school for the summer and we have hit the ground running!!  Friday the kids spent the night with Mimi and Boo Boo and everyone had a great night:)  We were able to take dinner to some friends, stop by a graduation party, and have a date at Outback for dinner!!  It was nice and much needed!

Saturday we headed to London and Cade's birthday party which was done Calliou style in their barn.  London is now 3 and Cade 2, hard to believe for sure!!  The kids all had a great time and that is what most of the pictures above are from!!  We love the Arwood's and are hoping to be able to spend more time with them this summer.  We came home from the party and hit the pool!

Sunday after church we went to Ethan's birthday party at Pump it Up...Glow in the Dark style.  It was the first time we had been to one like that, and the kids ran crazy the entire time.  We left the party and headed to our Church's picnic, where I really wished I had brought my camera.  The kids changed in their swim suits and there was a huge slipping slide.  There were kids sliding up and down that thing as fast as they could get back in line.  Needless to say....the kids slept great that nightL)

Monday we had Megs and Bubba over for pizza and an all day swim.  Maddie just can't get enough of the water and Turner is warming up to it as well.  It was a very fun and busy weekend.  Lastly I had to share Maddie and her Daddy riding their bikes together.  We just bought Kevin a bike about a month ago and this has been the first week he has used it.  They have been riding together every day except for yesterday, when I decided to give it a try.  I now want a bike!  We ride to Oak, which is where Maddie will go to kindergarten next year and then head back home.  It takes about 45 minutes total....the school is only a few streets away.  Poor Maddie's legs get tired and we take a lot of "breaks" which consist of her getting off her bike and sitting in the grass:)  It is a great activity to do with her and I can't wait for Turner to be able to ride a bike as well.  What a fun family activity!!!

Great weekend!!!
