We had a fun Thanksgiving Week spent with those we love. Harper and I were off the whole week and the big kids and dad were done Tuesday. We headed to Savannah Tuesday afternoon and stayed till Friday. It was the first big holiday since Dee Dee passed away. It was hard for the family. It made for a different get together.
We went to the park with cousins, watched the Good Dinosaur, and did a little shopping. The family came over Thursday for lunch and it was delicious. They are 2 new babies in the family and we were able to love on them. The weather was perfect! Nonna was so busy running around, I forgot to get a picture of her with the kids. That is my number 1 goal at Christmas. Big Da was on the boat but is home now, so we will be seeing him soon as well.
We left on Friday and came home to take some toys to church. A used toy sale was put together with donations accepted to go to missions. Maddie and Turner helped gather some things and went to the sale Saturday. $2000 was given for the children to give to the Lottie Moon offering. Exciting!
Saturday afternoon we had Thanksgiving with my family and Mexican was on the menu. It was super yum!! I did even worse taking pictures that night...I got one of Harper and Aubry. Oh well, there is always next time!!
We have a lot we are thankful for this year and it was nice spending time with everyone. Now the countdown is on till surgery and we have a lot to try and fit in before the 11th. It might not all happen...and that will be ok too.
Kevin and I met in 1998 at UTM and married in June of 2004. We have three children, Maddie-6, and Turner-4, and baby Harper. Kevin is a teacher and football coach at Bolton High School. I have been able to stay at home with the kiddos for almost two years now and love every minute of it. !!! We attend Ellendale Baptist Church and am so thankful to all of our wonderful family and friends. This is my fourth year to blog and I love recording all our memories!!
