Wednesday the whole family headed to the dentist. Poor Maddie had to get a filling and Harper had her first cleaning. Harper had 2 babies with her and Turner held her hand. She did great! She sat on the table like a big girl and smiled through most of it. The only thing that was different about her....she didn't say one word the entire time! But she was smiling, so we are good. She picked out a necklace from the treasure box and got a Minnie Mouse toothbrush. I would say her first visit was a success!
Maddie on the other hand has had an infection that won't go away. Her lower gums keep swelling up by one of her caps. They had to take it off, disinfect the tooth, and put a new cap on. She is on another round of antibiotics and praying that will be the end of the that! So she wasn't quite as smiley as sister but she was a trooper.
Afterwards we grabbed Maddie some ice cream and grabbed some pizza for the rest of us. Nothing like a family outing to the dentist;)
Kevin and I met in 1998 at UTM and married in June of 2004. We have three children, Maddie-6, and Turner-4, and baby Harper. Kevin is a teacher and football coach at Bolton High School. I have been able to stay at home with the kiddos for almost two years now and love every minute of it. !!! We attend Ellendale Baptist Church and am so thankful to all of our wonderful family and friends. This is my fourth year to blog and I love recording all our memories!!

It’s great that Harper's cleaning went smoothly, and that Maddie's teeth issues got dealt with thoroughly. And I think you handled the whole thing well yourself. The best part is how you've been a guiding hand the entire time, enough to ease whatever little stress they went through with some good old ice cream and pizza afterwards. Good day!

I’m sorry to hear about Maddie's infection, though Harper's cleaning seem to have gone smoothly. Well, going to the dentist and having those treatments done certainly made things better in the long run. Anyway, I hope you’re all doing well! Take care!

If you are in the market for a new dentist and don't have insurance, don't worry. There are so many new ways to take care of these bills if you just search online. There are places that will pay your bill and then you pay them back in low monthly installments. Like a credit card just for the dentist. It is really great.
