We spent the weekend in Savannah and the weather was beautiful!!! The kids spent the whole time outside with their cousins and had a blast! Maddie got her first sunburn due to momma slacking on the sunblock:( Tonight we were putting Aloe Vera from fridge on it and she was hoping it didn't hurt while she slept...she is quite the dramatic child! A lot of family came over Saturday for a cookout and we were able to just enjoy everyone and visit.
Turner is a huge Marci fan and he was able to get a lot of loving from her. She brought the kids huge lollipops right before bedtime, which was true Marci fashion-wind the kids up and then leave while we try and put them to bed:):):) My kids love her and I am so glad we have so much family in Savannah that love our kids like we do! Big Da was home, which is always a plus, and the kids just love spending time with him, Nonna, and their cousins. We were able to watch Brayden play a scrimmage game in T-ball and got a glimpse of what our life might become in another year or two.
Nonna took both kids to church with her today and Kevin and I had a few hours to just relax with Da. Things have been pretty stressful for me at work lately, and it was so nice to get away for a few days and just enjoy everyone. Easter is in two weeks and we have several things coming up to enjoy the holiday. The kids are pretty pumped about hunting for eggs-candy is their favorite thing:)
