Today was Meg's Birthday and we all went to lunch at Abuelo's after church. Megan received lots of Kirkland gift cards, and new decor to go in their house. They are so excited about their first house-those gift cards lasted about 20 minutes I think:) Maddie was so excited about Meg's birthday and kept asking if we were going where her party was. I don't think she realized we were just going to go sit down and eat lunch-she was ready to decorate cupcakes and play games! Megan and our "mom" (Boo Boo's mother) share a birthday, so this was Meg's first birthday by herself. While we were sad, we know that she is feeling a million times better off this year than she was last year at this time! I wanted to post some pics of lunch and tell Megs that we love her and hope that she had a great day!!
You are right! We were sad too but she is much better off this year. Hope Megan had a great birthday!
ReplyDeleteIt was so weird not having mom here though for my birthday, or just to even be able to call and tell her Happy Birthday. But yall are right she is in a much better place and isnt hurting anymore. But it is still hard for me when i think about her. But yes Emily i had a wonderful Birthday!
