A Big Week of Firsts for T!!

Turner had a big week!  He had his first soccer practice on Tuesday and this morning he had his visit day for Preschool, which starts on Monday.  He is such a big boy!  He has watched his sister play a ton of sports and do gymnastics and this is his first activity of his own.  He is so proud of himself and is looking forward to getting his own trophy:)  I absolutely loved watching him Tuesday and can't wait to see how he does this season.  He also walked straight into his classroom this morning, kissed me goodbye and was fine.  I think he had a good morning and the teachers said he did great.  Hard to believe that my baby is getting so big.  We are so proud and love our little Turner to pieces!!

Taking it Easy!!

Well we ended Maddie's first week of Kindergarten with a bang!!  She woke us up at Midnight Saturday morning throwing up, which she continued to do for the next 12 hours.  Her first stomach virus and she was oh so pitiful!!  What was supposed to be a fun filled busy weekend ended in us all just staying home and getting well.  Luckily no one else has gotten it and I hope it stays that way.  She threw up a dozen times, just cried and cried, and I felt awful sorry for her:(

We missed out on a birthday party and sunday school social, but it was nice to all be together and enjoy each other for a day or two.  Today Kevin kept Maddie at home from church to give her one more day to rest and make sure it was out of her system.  This afternoon the kids and I picked up a craft bucket at CVS and the kids went to town.
Turner has his first soccer practice this week so I will definitely be posting about that.  He also has his visit day at school on Friday.  Anxious for him to get started and see how he likes it.  Hoping to get in a good routine this week with Aubry and not get too overwhelmed in the afternoons when I am trying to get the kids everywhere they need to be:)
God is good and we are blessed far more than we deserve!!

Trying to Keep Up!!

My blogging has seen better days!  I have got to do better about keeping up with everything.  To be honest, I don't even know where my camera is at the moment.  Every picture I have taken lately has been from my phone.  We are trying to get in a routine!  Maddie is really enjoying school and doing great.  After not working for over a year, it has been quite difficult for me to get up get everyone moving so early.  I better get used to it quick because starting Friday I will be keeping Aubry!!  Praying everything goes smoothly and Turner adjusts well to having a baby in the house.

Turner and I have done some baking this week while Maddie is at school and have tried to stay busy.  This morning he and I walked to Mimi and Boo Boo's with Megs and Aubry.  It was almost 2.5 miles from Megs house and Turner rode in the stroller the whole time.  I am excited.  I didn't think he would stay put and its good to know I can get some exercise when it is just me and him.

I got a call from Turner's soccer coach last night and he starts practice on Tuesday.  It is at 6....Maddie's gymnastics is from 4-6....Kev is never around to help so this should get interesting.  Can't wait to hear from Maddie's coach and see when she practices.  I had requested they be on a team that practiced on Mondays, but apparently that didn't work out.  Oh well, we will do what we can.  Looking forward to Turner having an activity for himself!!  I am just keeping a close eye on Mo and making sure that she is getting plenty of rest and spending enough time at home.  I don't want to wear the girl out!!

Lots of randomness, just wanted to share a few pictures:)  We have several fun things this weekend so I will try and post more then!

Maddie Goes to School!!

Maddie is at school!!  Turner and I walked her in this morning and she was very nervous!!  Poor thing didn't cry, but I could tell she didn't want me to leave!  She was the first one to arrive in her class.  I stopped back by before we left to check on her and Ms. Daniel said she was doing great.  One of Maddie's friends from church is in her class and Ms. Daniel said she just lit up once he got there.  Praying that she had a great day and that we have a great school year!!!
